Reading eBooks on your Mobile device - including iPads

  1. To read Adobe EPUB eBooks on your Android, BlackBerry, iOS (iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®), or Windows Phone 7 device, you need the OverDrive Media Console v2 app (or newer).To download the OverDrive Media Console, click here.
  2. You will also need to activate the Overdrive Media Console with an Adobe ID in order to read your Adobe EPUB books. If you do not already have an Abode Digital Editions ID you will now need to obtain an Adobe Digital Editions account. To obtain an Adobe Digital Editions account please click here.
  3. Now simply purchase your selected books or if you have already made the purchase navigate to My Bookshelf on the Read Without Paper website.
  4. Download the eBooks on your iPad and the Overdrive Media Console will recognize the download and will open the eBooks for you to read.
Reading eBooks on your Computer

  1. To read Adobe EPUB eBooks on your computer, or to transfer Adobe eBooks to supported eBook reading devices, you need Adobe Digital Editions. To download Adobe Digital Editions, click here.
  2. Now simply purchase your selected books or if you have already made the purchase navigate to My Bookshelf on the Read Without Paper website.
  3. Click the download the button.
  4. Adobe Digital Editions will open and download the title (if you are using the Google Chrome browser, you will need to manually 'open' the urllink.acsm file that is downloaded in the browser). The title opens automatically after it is downloaded.
